Kayla Pereira

Kayla was born in Nevada and being in a military family led her to Crestview, Florida where she attended her K-12 schooling. She graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in May and holds a degree in Music Education with a Minor in

Psychology. While at The University of Southern Mississippi, Kayla dove deep into her faith and realized that a statement by Pope St. John Paul II - “Life with Christ is a wonderful adventure” - is certainly true. Kayla loves spending time with family, finding the best coffee shops around, and she can play a variety of instruments including the clarinet, ukulele, and trumpet. She has family in Oklahoma and Texas, including an uncle who's a deacon at St. Monica's in Edmond. Kayla is looking forward to meeting everyone as she continues to develop the youth office and help grow our girls' ministry program.
