Kathy has been the secretary for the Office of Parish Life since April of 2008. Her responsibilities include creating the weekly Prayer-Line, scheduling the sacristy cleaners, van drivers, the Parish Star program, Mass requests and helping with the publication of the annual Life Story Book as well as assisting the director with the various projects and activities.
Kathy has been a member of Christ the King Parish since she was 2 years old. She graduated from Christ the King School and Bishop McGuinness. She went on to study English Literature at O.S.U. Kathy enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom for 25 years, raising her three wonderful children. During that time she was a substitute teacher at Christ the King and Bishop McGuinness. Five years ago she returned to work full-time at Barnes & Noble, where she worked as Community Relations Manager. Kathy loves being back “home” at Christ the King. She has one hobby and that is reading, reading, and reading! Her favorite author is, of course, Jane Austen. However, “it is a truth universally acknowledged” that she will exhaust you arguing the amiable qualities of Mr. Darcy vs. Mr. Knightly. She has three fantastic and talented children, two beautiful cats and the two smartest dogs in the world.
