Ordination (or Holy Orders) is "[t]he Sacrament of Apostolic Ministry by which the mission entrusted by Christ to his Apostles continues to be exercised in the Church through the laying on of hands. Encounter with God’s Call weekend at Conception Seminary College is a free trip sponsored by the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City Vocations Office for young men who are juniors and seniors in high school or recent graduates who would like to visit a seminary. The trip takes place twice a year and is an excellent opportunity to meet seminarians who are discerning their call to the Priesthood. Please contact Fr. Rex, Fr. The Archdiocese of Oklahoma City hosts an annual 3-day retreat, Emmaus Days, for young men in high school or who recently graduated from high school and want to learn more about the call to the priesthood. There is no cost for the retreat. The retreat usually takes place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Youth Camp in Arcadia during the month of August.
