Mass Refreshments Hosts

Mass refreshments hosts are responsible for setting up and cleaning up of cookies, juice, water and coffee. Volunteers arrive 30-minutes before Mass to prepare, serve after Mass, then clean up for the next team.

Beverages are served from the window of the catering kitchen.  Cookies will be trayed on 8-ft. atrium tables.

Duties include:

• Making coffee and filling/refilling urns as needed
• Filling decanters with orange juice
• Filling pitchers with ice water
• Helping children pour their drinks (you'll know who needs assistance!)
• Setting out trays of cookies
• Setting out napkins for drinks and cookies
• With gloved hand, either set cookies out on napkins or serve cookie as chosen by parishioner (to deter people from touching multiple items)
• Cleaning up the area and leaving ready for next Mass or completely cleaning up and putting away pitchers, decanters and coffee urns.
