Blessing of the Pets

Christ the King will hold a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 1st at 4pm in commemoration of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi (October 4th). The blessing will be held in the north parking lot. Saint Francis, who lived in the 12th century, is the Catholic Church's patron saint of animals. The special blessing calls for God to bless the animal with good health and to keep them safe from all harm. Please bring all pets on leashes or in crates.
